ROOFLINE
THE PROBLEM
A Bedford roofline firm with thirteen five-star reviews on Google and no website at all, part way through a rebrand from ST Guttering to NST Roofline with a new logo and van livery but nowhere online to send people.
There is no before to show, so the job was a first site that helps a homeowner work out what's wrong with their roofline and who to call about it.
WHAT WE DID
A line drawing of a house stays fixed on the left of every page while the page scrolls on the right, with the part being talked about picked out in the new orange.
- What is your roofline doing? Eight things a homeowner might notice, like water over the gutter or paint flaking off the boards. Pick one and the drawing lights the part of the house, gives a repair or replace answer and the review that matches.
- No scaffolding. Their Easi-Dec access platform, the thing that sets them apart, with their own photos of it on the job.
- Same house, new roofline. Before and after pairs from their jobs, with house numbers blurred.
- The new brand, used lightly. Orange as an accent on black and white, the way it sits on the van.
- WhatsApp with the problem written in. Each symptom opens a message that already says what the customer has seen.
- Reviews on a rail. Their Google reviews, sideways, in the customers' own words.
THE RESULT
A homeowner who has spotted a drip or a stain can find out what it probably is, see the work, and send a message that already explains the problem. The photographs, the reviews and the list of changes all came from the business.
NST Roofline didn't commission this, so it's shown as a concept: a design we built unprompted to show what their site could be, using their own wording and photographs.
